Job description
Join Morrison Hershfield as a Transportation Civil Technologist, working on high-profile projects in a supportive and employee-owned environment. Collaborate with a national team to develop innovative roadway designs and enhance infrastructure solutions.

This role requires a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and a minimum of 5 years in transportation design, focusing on roads and highways. You will prepare designs, construction documents, and specifications, while inspecting civil construction projects to ensure quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities: • Communicate design concepts effectively to team and clients • Analyze engineering problems and recommend solutions • Prepare road and highway designs using CAD and transportation software • Develop construction contract documents and engineering specs • Conduct inspections on civil construction projects

Requirements: • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technologist discipline • At least 5 years of transportation sector experience • Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil3D software • Knowledge in civil construction project processes • Strong verbal and written communication skills
