Job description
Accelerate SAGD asset optimization with Cenovus as a Senior Reservoir Development Engineer. Lead innovative reservoir strategies and collaborate with teams to maximize project impact. In this senior role on the Thermal Development team, you'll focus on SAGD pad design and well optimization. Your engineering expertise will be pivotal in enhancing efficiency and reliability in data-driven approaches. You will work closely with geoscientists to ensure project success while minimizing operational risks. Key Responsibilities: • Lead design and scoping of SAGD pads and wells • Collaborate on reservoir forecasts and development planning • Analyze production data for improved accuracy • Optimize well placement and completion design • Implement cross-functional communication initiatives Requirements: • P.Eng. designation in good standing with APEGA • Bachelor’s in Petroleum, Chemical, or Reservoir Engineering • 8+ years in reservoir or production engineering • Proficient in numerical reservoir simulation software • Strong understanding of SAGD processing facilities Bring your reservoir engineering skills to Cenovus and make a tangible impact in thermal development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
