Job description

Kelly Services is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk with our client located in London, ON. This is a temporary 5-month assignment with the potential for extension based on business needs. The successful candidate will support and assist with a variety of accounts payable and cash handling functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and deposit vending collections
  • Process petty cash reimbursements
  • Prepare operating and change floats for multiple locations
  • Balance Cash Room floats
  • Process invoices in a high-volume accounts payable environment
  • Reconcile and balance payables
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
  • Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, or Accounting is required
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Experience working with accounting systems, such as PeopleSoft
  • Experience processing invoices in a high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Additional Requirement:

  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is required
