Job description
Are you looking for the chance to work 100% from home while utilizing your organizational, collaboration, and patient-service skills?
Do you want to join a leader in the pharmaceutical industry and support patients to ensure they can get the specialty medications they require to live a better life?

Language Requirement Notice: Our Client operates across Canada. This company takes all reasonable means to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires this where it is necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfil these job duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluently bilingual in both French and English (oral and written) to support a national patient base.
Please note that for this specific role, candidates must currently reside in Quebec (QC) or New Brunswick (NB).

We are currently hiring dedicated Bilingual Caseworkers for full-time, permanent remote opportunities. In this role, you will navigate complex reimbursement processes, engage in conversations with a can-do attitude and deep empathy, and ensure that patients come first.

🚨 CRITICAL PREREQUISITES TO APPLY:
To be considered for this role, you MUST have a minimum of 2+ years of recent experience (within the last 7 years) in one of the following specific roles: Patient Caseworker, Pharma Reimbursement Specialist, Patient Coordinator, or Patient Care Specialist.

Please note that for this specific role, candidates must currently reside in Quebec (QC) or New Brunswick (NB).

Your resume must clearly demonstrate exact experience managing complex cases, including navigating public/private insurance funding, benefit investigations, special authorizations, and appeals. You must also be legally eligible to work full-time in Canada and possess a 5/5 bilingual proficiency in French and English.

Mandatory Pre-Screening Questionnaire

To apply, you must submit your resume AND email your responses to the following questionnaire directly to jessica.yelozbek@randstad.ca.

Please note: You must meet all the criteria outlined below to be considered. If you do not meet these requirements, please do not submit an application. Only shortlisted talent who match the criteria will be contacted after a review of their resume and questionnaire.

(RESUME needs to have accurate data for each employment start (month/year) - end (month/year) for EACH EMPLOYMENT.)

1- Exact Address: Please provide your full, detailed home address.
2- Language Proficiency: As you are located in Quebec or New Brunswick, can you confirm you have a 5/5 professional working proficiency in both English and French? (Note: Bilingualism is mandatory for this specific role).
3- Experience Check: Can you confirm you have 2+ years of recent experience (within the last 7 years) specifically in Patient Support, Reimbursement, or Casework, and that this is clearly detailed on your resume?
4- Software Skills: Do you have experience working with CRM systems (such as Salesforce) and Microsoft Office?
5- Background Checks: Are you comfortable undergoing and clearing criminal and credit background checks (a strict requirement during the onboarding/offer stage)?
6- Vacation: Can you confirm you have no pre-booked vacations in the next 3 months?
7- Commitment: Are you comfortable committing to a permanent role?
8- Previous Experience: What specific day-to-day tasks did you handle in your most recent patient caseworker/reimbursement role?
9- Eligibility: Are you legally eligible to work full-time in Canada?
10- Remote Setup: Can you confirm you have a dedicated, quiet workspace, a highly stable internet connection, and are willing to complete an internet speed test via a provided link?
11- Availability: Are you fully available for the provided schedule (Monday-Friday, 8 am - 8 pm EST parameters) with no commitment concerns during the duration of your employment?
12- Accommodations: Do you require any accommodations during the recruitment process?

Equipment Provided: Home office hardware and equipment are provided as per company policy.

Great Work-Life Balance: Monday-Friday schedules. Shifts fall between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm EST (Opportunities to work a standard 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST shift, or an 8-hour shift ending at 8:00 pm EST for those seeking a later schedule).

Clinical Monitoring & Compliance: Administer case-management protocols including data collection, ongoing patient follow-up, therapy disruption monitoring, and mandatory adverse event reporting.

Administrative Duties: Accurately document every activity and interaction in the program-specific CRM database and coordinate all related paperwork for insurance and federal funding submissions.

Qualifications
What YOU bring to the role:

MANDATORY: 2+ years of recent, dedicated experience (within the last 7 years) as a Patient Caseworker, Reimbursement Specialist, or Patient Coordinator handling complex insurance/funding processes.

Please note that for this specific role, candidates must currently reside in Quebec (QC) or New Brunswick (NB).

MANDATORY: 5/5 Bilingualism (English/French, oral and written) is strictly required for this targeted position.

MANDATORY: Legal eligibility to work full-time in Canada.

Technical Skills: Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software quickly. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical distribution industry, public/private funding mechanisms, and reimbursement processes.

Soft Skills: Top-notch organizational and prioritization skills. You possess strong problem-solving abilities, financial acumen, and the capacity to handle sensitive healthcare topics with empathy and professionalism.

(RESUME needs to have accurate data for each employment start (month/year) - end (month/year) for EACH EMPLOYMENT.)
