At the Commission for Complaints for Telecom-television Services (CCTS), our goal is to provide impartial, fair and effective complaint resolution services, data and insights to telecom and TV consumers and service providers. We offer a free service to Canadians, and we need professionals like you to help us uphold our commitment to fairness and accountability.

Why CCTS? At the CCTS, we believe in the power of connection - both in the services we deliver and the talents we cultivate. We are more than just a dispute resolution company; we are innovators, and problem-solvers dedicated to ensuring positive experiences for telecommunication and TV consumers and service providers. If you are looking to make a real impact in a dynamic environment, you have come to the right place!

Your Role As an Investigator, you will play a crucial role in addressing unresolved complaints escalated by our Complaint Resolution Officers. Your keen analytical skills will be put to the test as you review, fact-find, and analyze complaints to determine if service providers have met their obligations. In doing this work, you will consult contracts, terms of service, and relevant Codes of Conduct. Your recommendations will directly influence the resolution process.

Our Ideal Candidate Are you ready to unleash your potential in this role? If you are an analytical problem solver and pay attention to details, you might be the most suitable person! You are a natural explorer who seeks to find a resolution to complex problems. You leverage your active listening skills to build strong relationships. You can communicate complex ideas in simple terms to ensure that everyone can understand and that all stakeholders stay aligned. Finally, your diplomatic nature values all voices and promotes fair and respectful interactions.

Take the plunge and see if this opportunity matches your unique abilities!

Must-Have

A minimum of 3 years of experience in investigative work, research, or a related field is essential.

At least 3 years of experience in managing complaints within a dispute resolution context is required.

Completion of a 2 or 3 year College Diploma in a relevant field, such as Conflict Resolution, mediation, law, social science, political science, psychology or public administration or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Experience in conducting thorough investigations, performing analyses, and effectively presenting findings in writing will be considered a considerable advantage.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. (proficiency in both French and English is strongly preferred)

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is desired.

Prior experience in the telecommunications sector or knowledge of the industry is a significant asset.

How To Apply Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey?

Be sure to polish your résumé and write a compelling cover letter to take advantage of this opportunity! Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. Your path to making a meaningful impact starts here.

Accommodation At CCTS, we value an accessible and inclusive hiring process for all applicants, including those with disabilities. If you need accommodations, please let us know by emailing hr-rh@ccts-cprst.ca when you submit your application. We request at least one business day's notice before interviews or tests. Your comfort and accessibility are our priority, and we aim to support all applicants in showcasing their talents.
