Job description

The Human Resources Intern is a new role, and will support various HR functions, such as assisting with the employee life cycle, recruitment, and helping to promote our core values within the organization. This is a fantastic opportunity to dive into the versatile world of human resources within the hospitality industry, while contributing to our mission of providing exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings and screening resumes

Help schedule interviews and communicate with candidates and hiring managers

Support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding activities and paperwork for new hires, and offboarding employees

Maintain employee records and assist in managing HR databases

Participate in employee engagement initiatives and training programs

Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed

Requirements

Pursuing a degree or certificate in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Strong interest in human resources and the hospitality industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

A positive attitude and willingness to learn
