Job description
Elevate the dining experience as a Food Service Supervisor with Southbridge Care Homes in Ontario. Lead a team to ensure residents enjoy safe and nutritious meals every day.

In this part-time, temporary role, you will report to the Executive Director while overseeing the Food Service Department. This includes ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, managing dietary staff, and enhancing the quality of meal services for residents. You will balance office duties with hands-on operations, requiring robust communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities: • Assist in planning high-quality dietary services • Apply continuous quality improvement principles • Supervise and motivate dietary staff effectively • Ensure compliance with Public Health standards • Liaise with residents and families about care needs

Requirements: • Membership with Canadian Society of Nutritional Management • Experience supervising in a unionized setting • Strong leadership and organizational skills • Excellent communication abilities • Negative vulnerable sector check within 6 months
