Reporting to the Head of Canada Global Payments Solutions the Treasury Sales Client Officer (TSCO) will be responsible for managing and aggressively growing treasury revenue and profitability across a portfolio of current & prospective fortune 500 global companies across the Large Corporate sectors. They will partner with Corporate Bankers, Liquidity, Investment, Payments, Receivables, Foreign Exchange, Card, Trade & Service partners and others across the enterprise to present customized working capital & treasury solutions that meet client objectives.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow treasury revenue across a portfolio of Global Large Corporate clients operating in Canada, spanning multiple industry verticals.
Be accountable for revenue growth, client planning, client engagement, portfolio development, pricing strategy, and the development and delivery of proposals and presentations.
Maintain a strong client focus and partnership, primarily delivered through virtual engagement, while providing treasury expertise, thought leadership, and a broad understanding of the bank’s structure and global cash management products and services to identify opportunities for efficiency.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and sound financial acumen.
Proactively expand product knowledge and remain current on evolving solutions, market trends, and industry developments. Effectively represent the voice of the client to product partners and across the broader organization.
Build strong relationships with internal partners and collaborate effectively within the GPS Sales team, sharing ideas and best practices.
Manage and deliver ad hoc projects as required.
Qualifications
Successful history of direct treasury management sales experience with US domestic and global solutions (including but not limited to liquidity strategies, foreign exchange, and trade). Broad and deep familiarity with global treasury management products, services and trends
Minimum 5 years of experience in comparable role
Proven business development and relationship management skills with a corporate client set
Excellent verbal/ written communication and presentation skills
B.S. or B.A. in finance, accounting, management, or another undergraduate degree preferred
Proven negotiation and active listening skills with strong executive presence
Ability to foster strong partnerships within the core team and the ability to build sincere rapport with client contacts
Effectively manages competing priorities in an organized fashion while maintaining a consistent level of client satisfaction
Ability to travel at least 5% of the time. Most calling will be virtual in nature.
