Responsibilities

Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials Load and unload metal parts from fixtures and move parts using hand truck or dolly Grind and deburr sharp edges from metal parts using hand and power tools Read and interpret work orders Follow directions given on work orders and by co-workers Transport raw materials and finished metal products manually, using hoists or other devices Operate Fork Lifts, jib and overhead cranes Perform other duties as required Qualifications

Completion of grade 10 Crane & Rigging experience or certification an asset Ability to operate Fork Lift an asset, training may be provided General knowledge of basic tools and equipment Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. Due to safety considerations and the physically demanding nature of the role, successful candidates will undergo a pre-employment medical evaluation upon hiring. Passing the Level 1 fitness test on the first attempt is a bona fide occupational requirement (BFOR). Application Process
