Job description
Lead water treatment operations in the Municipality of Lakeshore as a Water Treatment Supervisor. Provide oversight, maintain compliance, and ensure safe drinking water for the community.

Ahria Consulting is partnering with the Municipality of Lakeshore to find a skilled Water Treatment Supervisor. This role requires a strong focus on operational leadership, safety compliance, and infrastructure management. Ideal candidates will blend technical oversight with effective people management to support water treatment staff and uphold community health standards.

Key Responsibilities: • Supervise day-to-day operations of water treatment facilities • Ensure compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act • Manage infrastructure lifecycle and maintenance planning • Lead emergency preparedness and response initiatives • Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture

Requirements: • Three-year Community College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology • Ontario Class 3 Water Treatment Operator’s Certificate • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in water treatment • Knowledge of DWQMS and OHSA requirements • Proven leadership in regulated operations
