Job description
Join Sofina Foods in Belleville as a Summer Student for an immersive experience in the food processing industry. This full-time role from May to August involves working on the production line, including tasks like netting and packaging.

You will assist in preparing meat products and ensure compliance with quality standards while gaining essential skills in a supportive environment. The position provides training, making it a great opportunity for those wanting to enter the food processing field.

Key Responsibilities: • Assemble meat products, including hanging and tying • Perform packaging tasks such as vacuum sealing • Conduct quality inspections before and after processing • Support workflow by expediting necessary materials • Collaborate with team members and adhere to supervision

Requirements: • No prior experience necessary; training included • Must work well under tight deadlines • Strong focus on detail and safety • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and handling cold conditions • Willingness to stand for extended periods
