Job description
Contribute to the steel distribution industry with Russel Metals as a Material Handler in Surrey, BC. Safely operate forklifts and cranes while managing steel materials in a fast-paced environment.

Russel Metals, a leading North American metals distributor, is seeking a skilled Material Handler. This role emphasizes efficiency and safety while handling various steel materials. You'll engage in loading, unloading, and transporting goods using specialized equipment. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate strong mathematical skills and attention to detail for accurate inventory management.

Key Responsibilities: • Safely load, unload, and transport steel materials • Operate packaging tools and RF devices for tracking • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors • Maintain accurate inventory documentation • Perform additional related duties as assigned

Requirements: • Prior experience in material handling, especially steel • Proficiency with forklifts and cranes • Good mathematical competencies and attention to detail • Strong organizational and communication skills • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
