Job description
Influence GIS solutions with your expertise as a Senior Consultant at a leading technology consultancy in Vancouver, Canada. This role involves architecting, migrating, and integrating enterprise GIS applications.

In this senior position, you will lead the architecture and delivery of GIS solutions using GE Smallworld and ESRI platforms. You will also perform migrations from GE Smallworld to ESRI while mentoring developers and managing project timelines. Your contributions will greatly enhance utility, telecom, and gas operations.

Key Responsibilities: • Design scalable enterprise GIS architectures with GE Smallworld and ESRI • Drive migrations using FME, Python, and ETL tools • Mentor developers and ensure coding best practices • Manage project scope and translate business needs to technical solutions • Innovate and recommend enhancements to existing GIS technologies

Requirements: • Over ten years of experience in GIS applications • Expertise in GE Smallworld and ESRI ArcGIS platforms • Proficient in Magik, Java, Python, and SQL programming • Knowledge of FME, Oracle/PostGIS, and enterprise governance • Strong technical leadership and client communication skills
