Job description
Make a difference as a Van Outreach Support Worker with Main Street Project. This permanent position focuses on community support, harm reduction, and outreach to vulnerable populations in Winnipeg.

Main Street Project invites applications for the Van Outreach Support Worker position. This role operates evening shifts to support individuals experiencing homelessness and other critical needs. You will engage in direct outreach, provide essential resources, and ensure safety during emergencies while fostering a compassionate environment.

Key Responsibilities: • Meet immediate needs with food, shelter, and clothing • Operate the Outreach Vans for community transport • Respond to emergencies and assess critical situations • Monitor clients' safety and provide basic First Aid • Advocate for clients accessing internal and external resources

Requirements: • Education or experience in human services • Experience in outreach roles preferred • Valid Class 5 driver's license required • Current certifications in CPR and First Aid • Ability to work with diverse populations and manage high-stress situations
