Job description
Pursue a rewarding career as a Cryptanalyst with the Communications Security Establishment (CSE) located in Ottawa, Ontario. Leverage your analytical expertise to enhance cryptographic protections for Canada.

CSE is looking for skilled individuals to fill the role of Cryptanalyst or Crypto-Scientist, where you will apply your knowledge of mathematics and coding in a collaborative environment. Your job will entail conducting research on encryption techniques and developing effective cryptographic solutions to contribute to the SIGINT missions.

Key Responsibilities: • Contribute to cryptographic algorithm development and assessment • Support Government of Canada cyber defense initiatives • Research and analyze cryptologic issues thoroughly • Innovate tools and methodologies for operational needs • Present analytical results to varied audiences clearly

Requirements: • Degree in a related field, such as Physics or Computer Science • Experience with coding languages, notably Python or C++ • Knowledge of cryptographic principles and protocols • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Must be eligible for Enhanced Top Secret security clearance
