Job description
Join the Health Sciences Association of Alberta as a full-time, temporary Labour Relations Officer in Calgary. Provide expert labour relations advice and advocate for member interests through various initiatives.

This in-scope position will report to the Manager of Labour Relations, where you'll engage in arbitration, facilitate workshops, and mentor stewards. With at least three years of relevant experience, you will also participate in collective bargaining. Join a supportive environment that encourages career development and growth.

Key Responsibilities: • Provide labour relations advice to HSAA members • Participate in arbitrations and facilitate educational workshops • Mentor and oversee stewards in their roles • Lead or assist in collective bargaining initiatives • Interpret collective agreement language and advocate for members

Requirements: • Minimum three years in Labour Relations or related fields • University degree in a relevant discipline • Specialized education in employment law and conflict resolution • Demonstrated ability to navigate grievance and arbitration cases • Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
