Job description
Join Appletree Medical Group as a Clinical Assistant aimed at International Medical Graduates, enhancing your clinical experience in the Canadian healthcare environment. This role supports doctors while providing comprehensive patient care.

In this position, you will act as a clinical technician under physician supervision. Key duties include assisting during examinations and procedures, documenting patient care in EMR, and supporting administrative tasks in a busy clinic. Your ongoing training and development will help you thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate closely with physicians in patient care • Conduct patient triage and medical histories gathering • Accurately document encounters in electronic medical records • Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals • Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms

Requirements: • Medical degree completed; MCCQE Part I preferred • Excellent communication skills in English • Understanding of medical terminology and clinical protocols • IT skills and experience with EMR systems • Flexible availability for varied shifts across locations
