Job description
Become a key player at OPTrust as a Principal in Private Markets, specializing in Real Estate from our Toronto office. This full-time, hybrid role emphasizes due diligence and strategic management.

As part of OPTrust's Private Markets Team, the Principal will deliver high-quality analyses and capitalize on new real estate investment opportunities. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth financial evaluations and collaborating with finance teams on asset management. A strong background in commercial real estate will be beneficial for this position.

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct investment due diligence and underwriting • Oversee ongoing asset management and valuations • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations • Research industry trends and strategic initiatives • Handle additional projects as needed

Requirements: • 2-5 years of relevant real estate experience • Degree in business, finance, or a related discipline • CFA progress strongly recommended • Proficient in financial modeling with Argus experience • Team-oriented with robust communication skills
