Early Childhood Experience & Developmental Competence Significant hands-on experience caring for toddlers (approx. 12–36 months) Fully self-sufficient in managing core routines without instruction, including: Diaper changing (2–3 times daily as needed) Reading hunger, fatigue, overstimulation, and comfort cues Managing nap schedules Age-appropriate communication and redirection strategies Strong understanding of developmental milestones for early walkers and active toddlers Ability to provide one-on-one play before and after meal times 3.
