In short, the role of project manager consists of planning, coordinating, and directing all phases of a vast institutional design-build project. This key project manager role can be filled by someone based permanently in the Outaouais region, or by an individual residing in the Greater Montreal area who is available to travel to the Outaouais site one to three times a month. You will be the cornerstone of the project, from the pre-construction phase through to the final delivery of the building.

Responsibilities
The daily routine of a project manager is centered on efficiency, planning, and coordination. Here are the tasks listed as simply as possible:

Effectively lead the critical pre-construction phase and architectural design.

Plan the realization stages of this vast institutional project from A to Z.

Rigorously manage the allocated budgets and the established delivery schedules.

Coordinate the various multidisciplinary teams, including each architect, engineer, and subcontractor.

Resolve the technical challenges inherent to the design-build method.

Ensure constant and safe quality monitoring on the construction site.

Qualifications
To excel in these functions, we are looking for a passionate individual with a good overall vision:

Possess 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in building construction.

Have strong, demonstrable expertise in pre-construction as well as in the design-build mode.

Hold a background or training in architecture, engineering, or possess equivalent practical experience in the field.

Demonstrate excellent team management skills and fluid communication with the various stakeholders.

Showcase an excellent sense of organization and a great ability to adapt to unforeseen events.
