Adecco is currently hiring a Survey Technician for a permanent full-time opportunity in Kamloops, BC. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and motivated surveying professional who enjoys working outdoors, utilizing advanced surveying technology, and contributing to a wide variety of projects. In this position, you will support a variety of surveying projects including land development, infrastructure, topographic surveys, Indigenous land surveys, industrial projects, mining operations, and precision monitoring assignments. You will work alongside experienced project managers and survey professionals while utilizing leading-edge surveying equipment and technology.

Responsibilities- Perform topographic, layout, and as-built surveys.
- Conduct control and high-precision surveys for a variety of project types.
- Utilize Trimble GNSS equipment, robotic total stations, and 3D scanners for field measurements and data collection.
- Assist with RPAS (drone/UAV), bathymetric, and automated total station survey projects.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency in data collection and processing activities.
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers and survey teams to deliver project objectives.
- Maintain accurate field notes, records, and survey documentation.
- Support surveying projects across multiple industries and environments.
- Adhere to company safety procedures and industry best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Qualifications- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Previous surveying or geomatics experience is considered an asset.
- Experience with Trimble GNSS equipment, robotic total stations, and 3D scanning technology is an asset but not required.
- Familiarity with Trimble Business Center (TBC), StarNet, and Civil 3D is considered an asset.
- Advanced RPAS (drone) License, or willingness to obtain one with company support.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors and travel to project sites as required.
