Job description
Be a part of Prima Living as a Senior Living Accountant based in Vancouver, BC or Ontario. This full-time position is critical in managing daily financial operations for our retirement communities.

As an Accountant, you will play a key role in handling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing, and upholding financial integrity across our senior living residences. Strong communication with operational teams will be essential, as you will be involved in various financial aspects from billing to month-end close. Candidates should possess a detail-oriented mindset to excel in this dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities: • Handle daily financial operations for senior living residences • Process payments and oversee accounts payable • Manage resident billing and collections follow-ups • Execute monthly financial reconciliations accurately • Support year-end audits with proper documentation

Requirements: • 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience • Experience in retirement or healthcare sectors is a plus • Proficiency with Yardi Voyager and accounting systems • Strong understanding of AP, AR, and reconciliations • Excellent organizational and collaborative skills
