Job description
Join AFL as a Skilled Laborer, providing vital support in fiber optics construction. Engage in hands-on tasks including equipment operation, site setup, and cleaning while working in various climates.

AFL is seeking a detail-oriented Skilled Laborer with over a year of construction experience to assist in loading, unloading, and maintaining equipment. You will be responsible for setting up worksites—including flagging and using hydrovacs—while testing and purging areas. Your expertise will help streamline operations in the telecom, oil and gas, and utilities markets.

Key Responsibilities: • Read and interpret construction plans accurately • Operate construction equipment as licensed and required • Set up and maintain worksite safety measures • Clean and maintain company vehicles and equipment • Complete necessary production reports and timesheets

Requirements: • Minimum 1 year of construction experience • Valid Class 1, 3, or 5 Driver’s License • Capable of working in various temperatures and confined spaces • Ability to travel to different job sites • Preferable background in telecommunications
