Journeyman Electrician- Hudson Bay

Our OSB facility in Hudson Bay SK has an immediate opportunity for a skilled Industrial Electrician with a thorough comprehensive knowledge of electrical equipment processes and techniques to safely repair modify install and maintain the facility and high-tech OSB manufacturing equipment to join our Team.

Starting Pay: $48.13/hr

Key Functions:

• The Industrial Electrician will have a total commitment to safety and efficient electrical/maintenance practices.
• The successful candidate must have excellent work history be able to work independently and work rotating shifts.
• The candidate will be required to take a pre-employment electrical assessment.
• All Applicants must have a Red Seal certification.
• Preference will be given to dual ticketed instrumentation as second ticket.
• Ability or willingness to learn troubleshooting duties with the use of control logix 5000.
• Willingness to wear all required PPE and able to fit test and wear a respirator.
• Willingness to work at heights in confined spaces climb stairs and work in an environment containing wood dust and extreme heat and cold.

Preferred candidate must have experience with the following:

• Allen Bradley PLCs AC & DC drives and follow CSA Z462 and NFA 70E standards.
• Mechanical operations such as hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Basic knowledge of computers (Windows) and of the NEC is essential.
• Ability to troubleshoot using blueprints schematics computers and appropriate test equipment.
