Manager

The CapEx Category Manager will drive sourcing of CapEx categories and play a key role in developing and executing category strategies. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of CapEx Category Management and consulting expertise to effectively operate within the Infosys Portland ecosystem. The role requires strong problem-solving risk mitigation and adaptability skills.

Job Responsibilities
Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across MRO and services categories.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize cost quality and delivery performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing engineering and finance.
Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships for long-term value creation.
Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify sourcing opportunities.
Manage RFQs RFPs and supplier evaluations.
Lead governance meetings focusing on savings escalation management and sourcing projects.
Conduct plant visits and stakeholder engagements.
Handle escalations and maintain strong client relationships.
Identify and implement transformational sourcing opportunities aligned with business goals.

Preferred Qualifications
Strong category experience in MRO (Industrial Services Spare Parts Utilities Equipment Rental etc.).
Familiarity with RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and e-sourcing tools (Coupa Ariba etc.).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
Experience in manufacturing (food engineering or automotive) preferred.
Experience dealing with aggregators is a plus.
Fluency in French Canadian is required.

Required Qualifications

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Montreal Quebec or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.

Responsabilités du poste

• Diriger des initiatives dapprovisionnement stratégique pour les catégories MRO et services.

• Développer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies dapprovisionnement afin doptimiser les coûts la qualité et la performance de livraison.

• Collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles notamment en fabrication en ingénierie et en finance.

• Négocier des contrats et gérer les relations fournisseurs pour créer de la valeur à long terme.

• Analyser les tendances du marché et les capacités des fournisseurs afin didentifier des opportunités dapprovisionnement.

• Gérer les processus de RFQ RFP et lévaluation des fournisseurs.

• Diriger des réunions de gouvernance axées sur les économies la gestion des escalades et les projets dapprovisionnement.

• Effectuer des visites dusines et assurer les échanges avec les parties prenantes.

• Gérer les escalades et maintenir des relations solides avec les clients.

• Identifier et mettre en œuvre des opportunités de transformation en approvisionnement alignées sur les objectifs daffaires.

Qualifications privilégiées

• Solide expérience de catégorie en MRO (services industriels pièces de rechange services publics location déquipement etc.).

• Maîtrise des processus RFI / RFP / RFQ et des outils dapprovisionnement électronique (Coupa Ariba etc.).

• Excellentes compétences en communication et en gestion des parties prenantes.

• Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités dans un environnement à haute pression.

• Expérience en fabrication (alimentaire ingénierie ou automobile) un atout.

• Expérience avec des agrégateurs un avantage.

• Maîtrise du français canadien requise.

Qualifications requises

• Le candidat doit résider à une distance raisonnable de déplacement de Montréal Québec ou être disposé à sy relocaliser. Ce poste peut nécessiter des déplacements.

• Baccalauréat ou diplôme équivalent obtenu dans un établissement accrédité. Trois années dexpérience progressive dans la spécialité peuvent être considérées en remplacement de chaque année détudes.

• Minimum de 7 ans dexpérience en technologies de linformation.
