Emergency Medical Services - EMT/PCP Coordinator Location:

Redvers Health Centre, Redvers, SK

Employment:

Part-Time, Perpetual, 0.67 FTE

Pay Band:

$32.302 – $39.497 per hour

Job Description The Emergency Medical Services - EMT/PCP Coordinator is an integral member and leader for front line staff, coordinating operational resources effectively and efficiently, ensuring established policies, procedures, and work standards are followed, as well as ongoing mentoring and coaching of personnel. As a member of the front-line team, the Emergency Medical Services - EMT/PCP Coordinator is responsible for scene management and support to patients, families and staff. The Emergency Medical Services - EMT/PCP Coordinator reports to the Manager. They may also provide occasional support or input on provincial initiatives.

Qualifications

Education: Primary Care Paramedic certificate or equivalent education acceptable to employer.

Licenses: Valid Class 4 driver’s license.

Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience as a practicing Primary Care Paramedic.

Competencies: Intermediate computer skills; supervisory skills; effective verbal and written communication skills; familiarity with the SK Ministry of Health Ambulance Information System; knowledge of legislation, protocols & scope of practice applicable to EMS in SK; effective interpersonal relationship skills; ability to work independently and as a member of a team; ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing workload.
