We offer complete EPCM services including Project Management, Feasibility Studies, Full Service Engineering, Detailed Design, Procurement, Construction Management, Commissioning & Start-up, and Operations Maintenance Support.

The Intermediate Electrical & Control Designer supports all aspects of electrical and control design on various Oil & Gas projects. This role collaborates closely with Electrical Engineers on EPC, fabrication, and industrial project layouts and designs in an EPCM environment.




ACCOUNTABILITIES


May include but are not limited to:


· Assist engineers with electrical and control design and drawing requirements
· Establish drawing set-up procedures applicable to the job for drafting personnel
· Conceptualize plans, details, and sections to accurately convey construction or fabrication requirements
· Check and back-check drawings for accuracy and compliance
· Coordinate and analyze vendor-supplied drawings and incorporate the required information into project documentation
· Adhere to Lauren policies and procedures relating to health & safety and quality management
· Follow drafting and engineering management guidelines
· Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed




QUALIFICATIONS


· Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma from an accredited technical institution
· 3+ years of electrical and control design experience using AutoCAD and CADWorx
· 3+ years of Oil & Gas industry experience, specifically in an EPCM setting




SKILLS


· Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
· Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with designers, project managers, and engineers
· Knowledge of hazardous area electrical systems and industry codes
· Proficient in AutoCAD, CADWorx, and Microsoft Excel
· Solid understanding of standard design and drafting practices
· Familiarity with applicable industry standards and best practices
