Job description


Le Studio Singing Frog réalise depuis plus de 15 ans toutes les étapes de la production de projets de longs métrages ou des séries animées en 2D, en 3D, ou parfois même en réalité virtuelle. Nous sommes un studio d'animation dynamique et innovant, dédié à donner vie aux histoires à travers des visuels captivants et des récits engageants. En mettant l'accent sur la haute qualité, notre équipe s'épanouit grâce à la collaboration, la créativité et la volonté de repousser les limites de l'animation.
Travail au Studio ou à distance depuis la province du Québec, Canada.
Responsabilités
  • Créer et développer des systèmes de cheveux, poils, fourrure et plumes pour les personnages et créatures, en respectant le style visuel défini par le réalisateur.
  • Optimiser les grooms pour répondre aux contraintes techniques tout en respectant la vision du superviseur du département.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec le superviseur Groom ainsi qu’avec les départements de modélisation, rigging et surfacing pour assurer l’intégration harmonieuse des grooms.
  • Apporter les corrections demandées en faisant preuve d’analyse critique et en tenant compte de l’impact technique et artistique.
  • Identifier et signaler les problématiques rencontrées tout en proposant des pistes d’amélioration continue.
  • Respecter les objectifs de production, les échéanciers et les quotas établis.
  • Partager ses connaissances, techniques et bonnes pratiques avec ses collègues, le superviseur et les autres départements.
Compétences requises
  • Minimum 3 années d’expérience en création de groom (cheveux/poils/fourrure) dans des productions d’animation 3D.
  • Solide compréhension des volumes, des formes et de l’anatomie.
  • Maîtrise de Maya et d’un outil de grooming
  • Connaissance de Shotgrid
  • Sens du détail et rigueur technique et artistique.
  • Esprit d’équipe, autonomie et bonne gestion des priorités.
  • Une expérience en modélisation, surfacing ou rigging constitue un atout.
