Warehouse Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to take ownership of our warehouse operations and lead a team of approximately five employees. This role is ideal for someone with at least one-two year of supervisory or management experience in a warehouse environment who is looking to grow their career while making a meaningful impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating stability, improving processes, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the warehouse operates safely and efficiently.

Location: Acheson, AB

Pay: $53,000-$55,000annual base (monthly incentive bonus)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
• Lead, support, and schedule a team of approximately five warehouse employees.
• Take ownership of warehouse performance, organization, and productivity.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and inventory controls.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities.
• Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and workflow.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Train, mentor, and hold team members accountable to company standards.
• Work closely with management to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Address and resolve operational issues in a proactive and professional manner.
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 year of warehouse supervisory or management experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a small team.
• Experience with inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
• Forklift experience is considered an asset.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to take initiative, make decisions, and assume responsibility for warehouse operations.
• Proficient with basic computer systems and inventory software.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
