In your day-to-day activities, you will engage in field layout and calculations, conduct topographical surveys, operate GPS setups and third-party control networks, and utilize Total Station and GNSS survey equipment. Additionally, you will be tasked with establishing new control points in remote and challenging locations. A comprehensive understanding of Trimble GNSS and Robotic equipment is indispensable for this position.

  • Conduct field calculations with precision.

  • Establish control points in various work areas.

  • Comprehend and implement site emergency response plans.

  • Understand and apply site environmental response plans, including the use of spill kits and erosion control products.

  • Adhere to all site safety regulations relevant to the assigned work.

  • Work independently with confidence and reliability.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a construction surveyor.

  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Trimble GNSS and Robotic equipment are mandatory.

  • Completion of a 1–2 year Geomatics or Land Survey Technology diploma.

  • Possession of a valid Class 5 driver's licence.

  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the project site in Boston Bar, BC, to enable driving to site as required; work is 5 days per week with occasional weekend hours as needed.
