Remote Fall Co-op or Internship - Accounting

Location: Mississauga, Ontario (Hybrid – 2 days in office, 3 days remote)
Employment Type: Temporary, Full-Time (August-December)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our Finance team. This is a great opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in accounting practices and financial reporting within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

• Assist with data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  
• Help prepare financial reports and documentation
• Review and verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents
• Organize and maintain financial records, both physical and digital
  
• Assist with audits, reporting, and other projects as needed
  
• Perform administrative tasks to support the Finance department

What You Bring to the Team:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
  
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
