Reporting to: Operations Manager, WFTR & Continuing Education
Salary: | Classification 5, $25.02 per hour, as per BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees also receive an additional $0.58/hr. in lieu of benefits, as well as having 6% vacation pay paid out with each pay. |
Description: | As a member of our Workforce Training & Continuing Education (WTCE) team, the WTCE Classroom Assistant will assist the instructor in the classroom by providing administrative and student support for WTCE programs and courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing classrooms and supplies, assisting students as directed by the instructor, preparing student packages, monitoring student attendance and progress, maintaining student files, clerical functions such as word processing and photocopying and other duties as required. **Schedule will be Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 3:00pm daily, with a half-hour lunch break. |
