Job description
Wright Tree Service of Canada seeks a Skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to work on diesel engines and mechanical systems in heavy equipment. This role supports career growth and technical development.

As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet vehicles and industrial machines. A focus on safety, accuracy, and thorough documentation is essential. This position is perfect for a certified professional eager to maintain high standards while working independently and as a team member.

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough inspections and repairs on equipment • Perform preventative maintenance on heavy machinery • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure peak performance • Maintain safety standards in all mechanical work • Document service and maintenance activities accurately

Requirements: • Journeyperson certification or equivalent trade • Experience with heavy equipment and diesel engines • Proficient in welding techniques • Valid driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract • Ability to read schematics and service manuals
