Pharmacy Assistant – Full Time | Remote, NS

About the Role

MacQuarries Pharmasave Group is seeking an experienced and passionate Pharmacy Assistant to be part of the MacQuarries team. The Remote Pharmacy Assistant will be an individual who is not afraid to use innovative methods for effective communication. Our culture consists of the ABC’s; you must have a great attitude and professional behavior and want to positively contribute to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • The number one thing we look for is superior customer service. Our patients are very important to us and we want to make sure they are treated with respect.
  • Assist in the gathering of information to create and maintain complete patient records.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and professional standards
  • Foster a positive work culture aligned with our mission and values
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community partners to support wellness initiatives

Qualifications
  • Completion of Pharmacy Assistant course is an asset or equivalent on the job training.
  • We use Kroll software in our innovative pharmacy so having this experience is necessary.
  • Experience with compliance/ blister packaging would be an asset.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Committed to confidentiality, professionalism, and team engagement
