Job description
Support diverse student needs at Rocanville School in Rocanville, SK. This permanent position requires lifting, transporting students, and planning life skills programming daily.

We are seeking an Educational Assistant for a permanent role starting September 2, 2026, working equivalent to 6 hours per day. Key responsibilities include monitoring behavior, attending to student hygiene, and providing support in life skills and academics. Flexibility and collaboration with teachers and staff are vital for this role, ensuring successful student transitions in a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities: • Assist students with diverse and high behavioral needs • Lift up to 60 pounds independently and up to 120 with assistance • Transport students using personal vehicle, as needed • Prepare and plan life skills and academic programs • Supervise students and small groups effectively

Requirements: • Minimum Grade 12 diploma recognized by Board of Education • Valid driver's license and clear background checks • Flexible, adaptable, and teamwork-oriented • Knowledge in computer software for educational purposes • Relevant training in educational support is an asset
