Job description

Position Summary

:This course advocates a strength-based approach to supporting students experiencing mental health issues in today’s classrooms. Teacher Candidates will learn practical strategies for creating an inclusive classroom environment that nurtures the mental health well-being of all students, including how to engage with professionals within a multidisciplinary model to establish a circle of support.

Qualifications – Required Academic Degree: Master’s degree in Education; Bachelor of Education and/or K–10 Teaching Certification;Teaching in Ontario schools (K-6 experience for PJ sections, grades 4-10 for JI sections); leadership/scholarship in the area of School Mental Health
