Job description

Tasks

  • Process customer claims related to defective, damaged, or non-compliant products.
  • Submit claims to manufacturers and ensure proper follow-up.
  • Manage merchandise returns and RMA requests.
  • Issue customer credits and ensure proper system recording.
  • Follow up on claims files and communicate with customers.
  • Handle denied claims and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Monitor reporting and maintain up-to-date documentation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient service.
  • Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements

  • College diploma in accounting or a related field (an asset).
  • Experience in claims management or customer service (minimum 2 to 5 years).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; advanced Excel (SAP is an asset).
  • Bilingualism (French/English) required to communicate with customers in English-speaking provinces (Ontario and Maritimes), approximately 50% of the time.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
