We are currently seeking a Property Cleaner to join our operations team at our newly acquired Weston Road community in North York. This hands-on role is ideal for a dependable cleaning professional with strong customer service skills who enjoys contributing to a vibrant community of over 200 residents. As an operations team member you will be responsible for maintaining all building areas and ensuring that shared spaces remain clean modern well-maintained and welcoming for residents.

Responsibilities

In addition to the duties typically expected of a cleaning professional responsibilities will include;

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping mopping vacuuming and dusting.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms laundry rooms and common areas to ensure high hygiene standards.
• Empty garbage and ensure that waste is disposed of safely and properly.
• Perform occasional deep cleaning including scrubbing baseboards cleaning appliances and refinishing floors.
• Respond to any cleaning work orders submitted by the property management team.
• Occasionally engage in snow removal during winter months.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the property operations team.
• Follow all safety protocols and use all assigned personal protective equipment appropriately.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning janitorial services or housekeeping is considered a strong asset but is not required.
• Ability to perform a variety of repetitive physical tasks including bending kneeling lifting and walking for extended periods of time.
• Basic English verbal communication skills.
• Friendly respectable and community-minded with strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be eligible to successfully complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC) as a condition of employment.
• Ability to provide professional references and have a proven record of reliable work attendance.

Our Team What You Can Expect

• Most of the work completed will be at 2220-2222 Weston Road North York Ontario M9N 1YZ. However you may be required to occasionally work at neighboring properties. Work location will always be at the discretion of the employer.
  
• This role requires continuous on-call availability including evenings weekends and holidays to address emergency situations and urgent resident needs.

The expected base salary for this position is between $19 - $20 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including skills experience internal equity and other job-related requirements.
