Job description
As an Industrial Millwright, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing their advanced machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth operations that keep them at the forefront of the industry. What You’ll Do:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Conduct routine inspections and ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production, and engineering teams to improve machine reliability and efficiency.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Document maintenance activities and generate reports as required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements, including workplace safety and environmental policies.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) in Ontario.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an automotive or heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and gear systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Experience with welding, machining, and fabricating components is an asset.
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance tools such as vibration analysis and thermography.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work 2 shifts and overtime if needed.
