Hello! We are a warm, welcoming family in the north end of Calgary looking for a nanny to become a trusted part of our family. We are seeking someone to care for our daughter (1 year old) as I return to work this September. We are hoping to find someone who is reliable, creative, outgoing, and attentive — someone who will engage meaningfully with our daughter and help her thrive. The Role: We are starting part-time, with the expectation of transitioning to full-time within one to two months as we settle into our new routine. In addition to childcare, we are looking for some help with light household tasks, including tidying common areas, cleaning, and simple meal prep. We also have a large, non-shedding dog who will need some care throughout the day. Hours: We are anticipating roughly 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, though we recognize that schedules take time to settle and are open to finding what works best for everyone. Flexibility and open communication are important to us. What We’re Looking For: • Experience caring for infants/toddlers • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) • Reliable, trustworthy, and organized • Comfortable with dogs • Valid driver’s license and comfortable driving with a young child • Ability to plan and coordinate activities that engage our daughter in social settings — things like playgroups, classes, or outings that support her development and interaction with other children Compensation: Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will reflect the scope of household responsibilities taken on. We are committed to offering a fair and competitive rate that recognizes the value of the right candidate. We are also happy to discuss a vehicle allowance or mileage reimbursement if regular outings become a consistent part of the role.
