Project Advisor
MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Project Advisor for a leading utility and infrastructure organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a business professional with expertise in process optimization, Lean methodologies, facilitation, and organizational change to help drive continuous improvement initiatives across a complex and highly regulated environment.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Minimum 11 years of related experience in business improvement, process optimization, business transformation, strategic planning, or organizational change.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline.
- Green Belt certification or demonstrated experience leading process improvement initiatives.
- Strong experience developing business solutions and providing client advisory services.
- Exceptional facilitation, leadership, and consensus-building skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience engaging and influencing diverse stakeholder groups.
- Advanced understanding of business improvement methodologies and organizational change principles.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Formal project management training or experience.
- Adult education, instructional design, or training facilitation experience.
- Knowledge of change management frameworks and practices.
- Experience with Design Thinking methodologies.
- Experience implementing Lean Management Systems or Daily Management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance, efficiency, quality, and customer value.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Apply methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Daily Management, business analysis, and process mapping to solve business challenges.
- Deliver training programs including White Belt, Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Design Thinking, and Daily Management content.
- Develop and promote business improvement programs, services, and organizational capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and organizational effectiveness through proactive engagement with business stakeholders.
- Measure, track, and report on initiative benefits, including improvements to time, cost, quality, and operational performance.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide strategic recommendations that support business objectives.
- Support the development and implementation of sustainable business solutions that align with long-term organizational goals.
Technical Requirements
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong facilitation, business analysis, and process mapping capabilities.
- Excellent strategic planning and organizational development skills.
- Strong research, analytical, and decision-support capabilities.
- Ability to integrate long-term business objectives into program and initiative design.
- Advanced written and spoken English communication skills.
