Lycopodium Americas is currently recruiting for a Senior SAP Functional Analyst to join our growing team in Vancouver, BC.

The Senior SAP Functional Analyst is responsible for providing functional support, business process analysis, and user engagement across the SAP S/4HANA landscape, including system configuration activities and close collaboration with SAP technical teams to deliver effective solutions.

This role is strongly business-focused, ensuring SAP effectively enables end-to-end processes across Finance, Procurement, Sales & Marketing, Project Systems, and Time Management. The successful candidate will bring solid SAP S/4HANA implementation and support experience, a strong understanding of engineering or project-based industries, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional and system solutions.

This role is 100% in-person in our office located at 789 West Pender Street, Suite 570 | Vancouver, BC, V6C 1H2, Canada.

The tasks you'll perform

• Provide day-to-day functional support across SAP S/4HANA applications and related business processes.
• Support and resolve issues across Finance & Controlling, Procurement, Sales & Marketing, Commercial Project Management, Project Systems, and Time Management.
• Engage with business users to analyse issues and deliver practical solutions.
• Translate business requirements into functional solutions and process improvements.
• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolution of SAP incidents.
• Collaborate with technical teams and vendors on enhancements and defect resolution.
• Support system configuration activities where required.
• Assist with user training, system usage guidance, and best practices.
• Develop functional specifications, process documentation, and user guides.
• Participate in continuous improvement and transformation initiatives.

The expertise you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or related discipline.
• Min 5–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP implementation/transformation, or functional support.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA with experience across Finance, Procurement, Project Management, and Sales processes.
• Proven experience in SAP implementation, transformation, or functional support roles.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business process integration within SAP.
• Experience in engineering or project-based industry environments is highly desirable.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and business-facing communication skills.
• Ability to analyse business issues and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Experience managing multiple support activities in a structured environment.

The expected salary range for this role is $125,000 to $140,000. This range is based on the role’s job family and level and reflects a good faith estimate for the role at the time of posting. Your final offer will depend on factors such as market conditions, internal equity and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
