Job description
Join Shared Health as a Nursing Assistant and impact patient lives in Winnipeg. This full-time role combines essential clerical tasks with direct patient care in a dynamic hospital setting.

As a Nursing Assistant at Shared Health's Adult ER, you'll be the backbone of patient support while fulfilling clerical duties. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and experience from a relevant healthcare program. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the unit operates smoothly and clients receive optimal care.

Key Responsibilities: • Act as a communication link through clerical tasks • Deliver care and comfort to patients during their stay • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas • Assist with patient lifts and transportation when necessary • Engage with team members to provide effective care

Requirements: • Completion of the Nursing Assistant program or equivalent • High school diploma in accordance with Manitoba standards • Knowledge of medical terminology required • Basic keyboarding skills essential • Experience in a related healthcare position preferred
