Bilingual Business Analyst

Salary: $69,630 - 95,604 per year

Requirements:

• We require bilingual fluency in English and French.
• We prefer a university degree, college diploma, or related certification, along with knowledge of IIBA and BABOK best practices.
• We look for 3 to 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, Operations, IT, or a closely related field.
• We need proven ability to elicit and document requirements, map business processes, and facilitate stakeholder workshops and meetings.
• Experience in the personal insurance sector, especially Home and Auto Insurance, is considered an asset.
• Experience supporting UAT activities, including test planning, script development, and coordination with stakeholders, testers, and developers, is an asset.
• Experience with solution evaluation and validation, including business case preparation for new technology and ROI analysis, is an asset.
• Familiarity with call centre applications, broker management systems, marketing automation tools, or web development platforms is an asset.
• Data warehousing and business intelligence experience is an asset.
• Practical knowledge of SQL or other database query languages is an asset.
• Process-related certification or designation, or a commitment to complete one, is required.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and other Lean disciplines used in cross-functional business improvement leadership is required.

Responsibilities:

• We engage stakeholders to identify and clarify business needs, process requirements, and problem statements.
• We analyze business goals and challenges, assess requirements, and recommend solutions that improve processes and support suitable system outcomes.
• We evaluate current and future state processes, complete gap analyses, and implement process improvement initiatives.
• We document business requirements, including process models, maps, workflows, and diagrams.
• We may lead or participate in working groups, information sessions, strategic planning, and business capability planning.
• We support test plan development and execute testing with business units and project stakeholders.
• We work with stakeholders to define project scope, vision, cost-benefit analysis, risk factors, and detailed plans aligned to business goals and project methodology.
• We translate complex business requirements into clear, simple language for all stakeholders.
• We follow organizational standards to protect quality of service and confidentiality.
• We help develop practices and processes that support quality standards, change management, and release management.
• We identify opportunities to create business value through improved processes, standards, and methodologies.
• We track requirements across the project lifecycle and show how business needs connect to solutions, testing, and validation.
• We provide consulting support to departments and users to improve how they use existing systems and processes.
• We analyze metrics and recommend improvements to strengthen business intelligence and support management decisions.
