  • Supporting sponsorships, community investment initiatives, partnership agreements, employment initiatives, and other collaborative opportunities.
  • Preparing presentations, reports, newsletters, meeting summaries, correspondence, and engagement materials.
  • Coordinating logistics for community events, outreach activities, cultural awareness initiatives, and stakeholder engagement opportunities.
  • Tracking commitments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting reporting on community and Indigenous relations activities.
  • Working closely with the Sales team and senior leadership to identify opportunities that strengthen relationships and support business growth within local communities.

What You Bring:

  • A certificate, diploma, or post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Indigenous Relations, Communications, Public Relations, Community Development, or a related field.

  • Three to six years of progressive experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations, communications, marketing, partnership development, customer relations, or a related field.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

  • Experience coordinating events, meetings, community initiatives, or stakeholder engagement activities.

  • The ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with diverse groups and communities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business software applications.

  • Experience working with Indigenous communities, municipalities, community organizations, or non-profit groups.

  • Experience in marketing, communications, or community relations.

  • A valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and the ability to travel throughout Four Rivers Co-op's trading area (Required).

  • Experience in sales, business development, customer relationship management, and/or working with Indigenous communities would be considered an asset.

  • Knowledge of local Indigenous Nations, communities, cultures, and protocols would be considered an asset.
