Job description
Our financial services client is seeking a Email Developer (12 months) to build and deploy client-facing communications using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
Join a marketing technology team supporting communications for a leading Canadian banking institution, focusing on digital and client-facing marketing initiatives. This role develops responsive and dynamic email campaigns leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud, AMPscript, and HTML/CSS, ensuring engagement and compliance across digital channels. The position offers hands-on exposure to marketing automation and cross-channel delivery with room for contract extension or full-time conversion.

Must Haves
- 2+ years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud email development with AMPscript and dynamic content
- Hands-on responsive HTML/CSS design for email templates and media queries
- Experience with Email Studio, CloudPages, and Mobile Studio environments
- Knowledge of Data Extensions, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio
- QA/testing using Litmus or Email on Acid with ability to troubleshoot multi-device rendering issues
- Education not specified
Nice to Have
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (Email Specialist, Developer)
- Familiarity with Journey Builder and Automation Studio
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy client-facing email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Code responsive emails and cloud pages aligning with brand and accessibility standards
- Integrate AMPscript for personalization and dynamic content
- Collaborate with marketing and digital teams to maintain templates and modules
- Set up and manage data integration points for marketing automation journeys
- Optimize campaigns for deliverability and engagement
- Conduct rigorous QA/testing and troubleshoot rendering issues across devices
