Our Public Sector Client requires a Senior Business Analyst (10+ Years) to elicit requirements from internal stakeholders for the development of a data management framework and reporting solution.

Responsibilities:
- Develop standardized enterprise business requirements framework to be utilized consistently across IT, business units, and onboarding regulatory programs.
- Refine and model end to end business processes for registration and submission of regulatory data in the new application.
- Lead collaboration between business stakeholders and IT to gather and prioritize requirements.
- Lead engagement with IT to translate requirements into user stories and mock-ups while ensuring alignment with objectives
- Develop and maintain a detailed backlog of user stories and establish their acceptance criteria.
- Conduct reviews and refinement sessions with stakeholders to ensure requirements remain accurate and upto-date.
- Provide guidance and support to other BAs involved in the project, ensuring consistency and alignment across all activities.
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure that the user stories are well understood, documented, and implemented appropriately.
- Document processes and guidelines related to requirements gathering, user story creation.
- Work in Agile methodology with contribution towards spring planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaboration with Ul/UX designers to create mock-ups that meet user requirements.
- Participate in scrum events, including daily standups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
- Assist in User acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the implemented features and ensure they meet business requirements and user expectations.
- Work on training material to support the work being done by IT.
Must Haves:
- 3+ years of Government Experience as a Business Analyst (including Federal, Provincial, and Crown Corporation)
- An IIBA Certification, or a PMI/PBA Certification, or a Business Analysis Masters Certificate
- Experience using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN)
- Agile / Scrum Experience
