Select Responsibilities:
Reporting to Plant Leadership, lead a Lean Continuous Improvement program focusing on cost, OEE, quality, and customer service
Lead productivity improvements for various departments (filling, packaging, specialty reagents, formulations, tableting) and product lines
Lead improvement workshops, kaizen events, chalk circles, VSM and other improvement events.
Build skills and capabilities of others in Lean methods, Productivity and OEE
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required (Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or similar
Min 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing Operations with min 2 years Continuous, Lean, or Process-Improvement focused experience. Knowledge of automated systems (software, controls, equipment) desired
Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and/or with industrial engineering methods such as Time Studies, Flow Analysis and System Optimization
Knowledge and desire to lead and coach others on OEE (improving lines, processes) through Process Control Strategies, Centerlining, Maintenance
Ability to plan and facilitate workshops and improvement events
<10% travel to vendor sites as needed
