Manager, Workforce Development and Campus Operations

Golden, BC Campus

Regular, Full-time

Summary of Duties: Leads the growth, vision, and industry engagement strategy for the campus by identifying new workforce training opportunities, building strong partnerships with industry, and overseeing day-to-day campus operations. Develops and articulates a clear vision for the campus that reflects regional economic priorities, including outdoor recreation, adventure tourism, hospitality, forestry, and trades, and fosters that vision within the campus team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or relevant area; an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
• 5 years of management experience, with a strong track record in business development, partnership building, and bringing new programs or services to market.
• Demonstrated knowledge of, or direct experience with, the outdoor recreation, adventure tourism, or natural resource sectors is considered a strong asset.
• Experience working in a post-secondary environment, with knowledge of workforce development principles and regional economic needs.
• Knowledgeable and experienced with budget development and management, human resources, marketing, stakeholder engagement, and customer service principles.

Salary: The starting annual salary is $94,443 to $125,924 for this Management Group position. Management Group employees are eligible for annual salary increases within and above the starting range through demonstrated performance.
