Job description
Drake International is currently recruiting and building a candidate pool for upcoming Production Associate opportunities with a client in the food and beverage manufacturing industry located in Barrie.What we offer:
  • Location: Barrie L4N 6L2
  • Pay Rate:$20 - $22 per hour plus 4% vacation pay based on experienceand qualifications.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day shifts generally fall between 6:00 AM and 3:30 PM, depending on operational requirements
  • This is a temporaryto Permanent opportunity
What you’ll do:
  • Applying labels (stickering)
  • Rinsing containers
  • Packing finished products into boxes and placing them on skids
  • Supporting general production activities while maintaining quality standards
  • Performing other production and warehouse duties assigned by the supervisor
  • Assemble packaging by folding and taping boxes, labeling products, and preparing shipments
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
What we’re looking for:
  • Previousexperience in GMP food production facility
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical work, including liftingup to 35–40 lbs as required
  • Previous forklift experience (Toyota, Crown Reach, or Electric Walkie) is
  • Ability to stand and work for extended periods
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • CSA-approved safety footwear required
  • Must be able to follow instructions and safety guidelines
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
